It all started when…

TEJASURF founders Wade Koniakowsky and Paul Calderon met at Big Bang, an ad agency in Del Mar, CA that Wade owned in the 90s. Both grew up in Texas and migrated to CA in search of glassier waters. Paul found his way back to the Gulf Coast, Kemah to be exact, where TEJASURF headquarters is now located. Wade is still on the west coast but maintains strong ties to Texas - surfing, making art and hanging with his bros in the Port Aransas area, one of his favorite places on the planet.
